Caring cat sitter

Hello,

I am an animal lover, having grown up around animals. My own cat, Lily, is nearly 10 years old and she’s fairly nervous and lively bengal, as well as being my best friend! She has her own health issues so I have some experience in delivering basic medication, if needed.

I’m self employed and mostly work from home in Poole, which means I can be really flexible in offering my services to help other cat owners in the local area.

In my previous jobs, I traveled and commuted a lot so I know how hard it can be leaving our beloved animals behind and entrusting them into someone else’s care.

I’m caring, thoughtful and empathetic, as well as being clean, tidy and organised. I appreciate that it’s a big step to let someone into your home to care for your fur babies, and it’s a responsibility I take seriously.

I offer pop in visits for local cats, which include feeding, changing litter, and I will follow the cat’s lead on whether they would like attention and play time. For more nervous cats, I’m adept at reading their body language - having a very nervous cat myself - so I'm happy to leave them in peace, or take the time to sit nearby so that they can build their trust in me, if that would be helpful.

I am also happy to help with watering plants, taking out bins, and opening or closing curtains, if needed.
