About Me
Cat sitter in Glasgow
Hiya! I'm Nadya, already a full on cat lady, who is simultaneously a scientist. I have been looking after cats since I was 12 years old, first with my sister's calm tabby, then we got an explosive calico cat to the household when I was 18. The calico had so much energy, I had to play with her 3 times a day for at least 30 minutes, so I would say no matter what your cat's needs are - whether it is a calm cat who just needs a feed and a friendly face while you are away, or a full on exhausting play session with your baby - I have you covered.
I love giving cats pets - if they are up for that, treats, etc., according to your cat's needs. Furthermore, if your cat requires an overnight sitter, I'm up for that as well. All you need to do, is give me instructions what your cat needs and that is it. I am usually capable of trimming cat's nails without causing too much of a fuss for the animal, this also goes for feeding them medications in pill form, but I do not have experience with injection or tube feeding. I also have experience in placing antiparasite medication on the scruff of the neck, as I have consistently done it for our own cats and several community cats. Happy to learn injection and tube feeding techniques from a vet (if the opportunity arises). The most important thing is whether your baby will be properly taken care of, so if there is something weighing on your mind, ask away - better safe than sorry. Our tabby at home is also a senior cat, so I have familiarised myself what to look for, in case they need to be brought urgently to the vet. I usually am on my phone in the morning and in the evening.
