Just a little bit about myself before we go into what I can offer you as your future cat-sitter...

I have two cheeky fur sons named Achilles and Hektor (yes, from the Iliad! When I gave them their names I made sure they understood that Achilles could not kill Hektor like his namesake had). They are roughly five years of age now and seem to still think I enjoy their surprise-gifts of dead mice no matter how many times I tell them that my fridge is always perfectly stocked with food.

I am a quiet person who prefers the slow, quiet and peaceful life - which is why I abandoned Manchester city for beautiful Hebden Bridge. My hobbies include planning and writing my Hopefully-One-Day-Published book, as well as exploring castles, taking my metal detector to beaches, and partaking in historical reenactments.

I am twenty-seven years old and for my entire existence I have been around cats. My first cat being a grouchy but lovable girl named Guinness who my mum and dad adopted from a litter of kittens birthed by the then-local pub feline. The queen of the pub, some might say. So! Safe to say I am well used and well equipped to taking care of cats - at this point I have deduced that it's the cats who are letting us live alongside them, and not the other way around...
