Macsen’s Cat Sitting Service

My name is Macsen and I’m an eighteen year old who has just finished school. I’m very much a fan of sitting around to draw, sew or whatever else tickles my fancy at any given moment. This makes cats a perfect companion for me, and I’ve been lucky enough to have four. The first was a black and white cat called Pixel, and despite her cantankerousness, she was a sweetheart. Then, my family got a ginger tabby named Biscuit, much to Pixel’s chagrin. Biscuit was a bit of a bruiser, always off either hunting or fighting (once he even stared down a fox) though you never would’ve guessed by the way he’d run up to you looking for strokes and scratches. When Biscuit and Pixel were gone, my family got two new cats, brothers - as pictured in my profile pic. The ginger one is called Jake, and is the more outgoing of the two. The grey one, Elwood, is jumpy to say the least, but once he knows there isn’t any danger, he’s incredibly affectionate. I love cats, though that’s probably a given, and anytime a have the pleasure of meeting one, even just on the street for a few minutes, it’s the highlight of my day. For me, there’s very little that’s more rewarding than befriending a cat.

As a cat sitter, I will endeavour to provide as many scratches as desired, as many treats as I am allowed to give, and as much playtime as the cat(s) want. As for the less glamorous side, I’ll admit I am a little inexperienced; all my cats have been outdoorsy, meaning I have yet to clear out litter trays and things like that. They’ve also been perfectly healthy, save for old age, so I haven’t had to give them any medication in any way. However, I am more than willing to learn, as I would like cats of my own in adulthood and these are skills I will most likely need in the future. Better to learn now than later.
