Cath The Cat Sitter

I am a woman in my 60’s who used to be a Film Editor, but don’t work very much anymore. I have 2 grown up children, who still live with me (plus my son’s girlfriend!) and we have had cats since they were little. At the moment we have 2 cats, one who’s 10 years & the other is 1, who sadly don’t get on but they can still be very entertaining. I try to keep myself fit and healthy by doing Pilates and going to Salsa classes, which I enjoy immensely. I am also interested in art, the cinema, reading and keeping up with friends and family.

I have been looking after a few cats privately for friends and enjoy this a lot. I will stroke them so that they can nuzzle me and get to know and recognise me. I’m more than happy to let them come onto my lap so that they can be petted and made to feel secure and welcome. I will fit in to whatever their feeding is, and also the giving of treats. I will comply whatever rules there are about any medication that the cat is taking and whether they are allowed to go outside and when they need to be back inside. I am also familiar with a few types of cat flaps. If I stay over night and the cat usually sleeps on the bed with their owner and I am more than happy to allow this to happen with myself…..but only if the cat wants to, of course!
