Cool for Cats
I have very recently stepped down (not retired) from being a chemistry teacher which I absolutely loved though it did consume my life! I grew up mostly with dogs, but we also rescued a little one-eyed kitten, Korky. She was a great character but sadly only lived a few years. In my own family we have had 2 cats - also rescues. Our current cat, Coco, can sometimes be very scared, for example she won’t use the catflap unless it is pinned open, but she’ll still defend her garden against anyone in the neighbourhood! I would like to have more cats in my life but sadly Coco would not so cat sitting seems like a great option!
I’m happy to follow instructions regarding feeding regimes, clean out litter trays, give fresh water, groom, play with, talk to and give cuddles and tummy rubs. I recognise that all cats are different; some being very friendly and others being timid so I will always approach cautiously in the first instance until I have earned their trust. I’m happy to send daily updates via video or photos.
