About Me
Worry-ye-not cat sitters
Hii fellow cat owner I am Tina. I am a proud owner of our gorgeous Poppy (8) and Aspen (2) cats both of which we rescued from local charities (my profile photo).
I am an analytical chemist who moved to the UK from NZ in 2011. I've been living in Liverpool for just over a year with my partner Ben (also a cat sitter). I work in Manchester in the Trafford Park area.
Poppy cat was my neighbour's cat and I met her in 2017 when I moved to Manchester. She is a plump black and brown tabby with white socks. Sadly her owner decided to abandon her alongside another cat and the entirety of the house they lived in overnight - leaving RSPCA to rescue a very weak and poorly Poppy cat. I tracked her down when I saw RSPCA's notice on the neighbour's door and eventually convinced my landlord to let me keep her in the house. Poppy cat has moved to 4 new homes with me being adaptable for both indoor and outdoor lives. Poppy cat is very much a sensible housemate who doesn't really bother you but will keep your lap warm whenever you'd like it. She always knows when someone is upset and would sit and comfort them. She is around 5% outdoors and an excellent tree climber and huntress but she is a comfort creature by heart.
Aspen cat is a new addition to our family as of May last year. He is a large ginger tabby with glorious flowing long fur. He is a very vocal sweetheart and loves to wrap himself around your leg. He is very playful yet gentle, and easily entertained by his (2nd) da-bird toy for hours on end. He loves being outside but would also snuggle with us in bed. Aspen cat loves spending time with our kids but deep down he is really a daddy's cat.
Between myself and my partner we have over 40 years of experience of cat ownership and will be able to travel to your house a few times a day depending on the needs of your beloved kitty.
Services offered are: feeding, scooping poop up, changing cat litter, grooming, playing with a variety of toys, scritching, cuddles, lap time, a chat (?!), administer meds orally and by external drops and send daily photo updates... I'll continue to update this list when I'm asked to do a new thing.
I am also happy to water plants, collect letters and look after fish or birds.
