Helen's paw-some cat-sitting!

Hello,

I am a 33 year old, based in between Wimbledon Chase and Morden. I have recently decided to pursue a change in career from one based in administration, to one with feline welfare and care at its heart. As such, I have lots of free time, while looking for volunteering opportunities, to spend with your kitties!

I absolutely adore cats - I have a 13 year old, black cat called Ruskin who I rescued from Battersea as a 9 week old kitten. There is nothing better than curling up on a sofa with a good book and a cat.

My friends tend to call me the cat whisperer as I seem to be able to get on good terms with most cats fairly instantaneously.

As a cat owner, I know how important it is that you trust the person taking care of your pet when you are away. I am a friendly, responsible and reliable person who is always willing to go the extra mile to make you and your feline friends happy!

Whether your cat's love language is treats, playtime or cuddles, I will make sure that they get what they need from me while I visit. I know it is also very important to respect their boundaries, especially if they are already shy or nervous. I will do whatever I can to make them feel most comfortable.

My own cat was recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, which, among other things meant that he was having to take daily medication. My previous cat also had to take a lot of medication towards the end of his life, so I am very experienced at administering this.

I am also very happy to visit homes with multiple pets - the more the merrier!
