Friendly Vet Student Who Speaks Cat

Hi, I'm a 2nd year vet student at The RVC with many months of experience in vet clinics and shelters.

Cats are dear to me because their trust is earned, and they have a clear personal space policy (What's mine is mine, what's yours is also mine). I love getting to know them by just sitting or using toys to bring out their curious and crazier sides.

I lived with a kitten rescued from a storm drain at 12 y/o, but sadly had to give her up as my sister was allergic to fur. Since then, I actively volunteered to pet sit for friends and family when they went away, so I could spend more time with their dear felines.

Helping cats in the clinic was really tough, and they probably hated me after, but it was so rewarding to see them gradually improve. The difficulty made me appreciate the work even more.

I'm happy to drop by during the day (multiple times) and/or stay overnight, whichever suits you best. I always send frequent photo and text updates, because I'm sure you will miss them the moment you leave. Whether you have a social or anxious kitty, I will do my best to make them feel safe with me and follow your notes. Let me know who needs more pets, who needs more brushing or playtime and I am on it!

With my clinical experience, I am confident with feeding medicine and giving injections (IM and SubQ) if your furry best friend(s) need regular meds (unfortunately).
