Friendly Vet Student Who Speaks Cat

Hi, I'm a 3rd year vet student at The RVC with months of experience in vet clinics and shelters.

I rescued a kitten from a storm drain at 12 y/o, but sadly had to give her up as my sister was allergic to fur. Since then, I eagerly offer to pet sit for friends and family when they go away, so I can spend more time with their sweet kitties.

Cats are dear to me because their trust is earned, and I love their policy on personal space (What's mine is mine, what's yours is also mine!). I love getting to know them by just sitting or using toys to bring out their curious and crazier sides.

Although it saddens me to see how being in the clinic stresses some cats out, observing their improvement after treatment is so rewarding. These challenges make me try harder to make sure your cats remain healthy and content in your absence.

I'm happy to drop by during the day (multiple times) and/or stay overnight, whichever suits you best. I always send frequent photo and text updates, because I'm sure you will miss them the moment you leave. Whether you have a social or anxious kitty, I will do my best to make them feel safe with me and follow your notes. Let me know if your fur-child needs more pets, brushing or playtime and I am on it!

With my clinical experience, I am confident with feeding medicine and giving injections (IM and SubQ) if your cat needs regular meds.
