Whiskers and Mane Cat care

I am a kind and caring person. I love all animals especially cats. I have a fully enhanced DBS check certificate, which I have had for 21 years, the DBS certificate is stored online which I can login so you may view it if you wish. I have recently retired, this decision was made to give me more flexibility and opportunities to look after, and care for peoples cats and kitties. I worked for eight and a half years supporting Adults with learning disabilities at a community where they lived and prior to that I was a Support Teaching Assistant at a secondary school supporting pupils on the Autistic Spectrum. I am crazy about cats and I currently have 4 cats of my own. I have had cats for most of my life and couldn't be without them. Before I had my family, I worked with racehorses which included fully looking after them e.g. grooming, mucking out, feeding, watering, exercising them, and accompanying them to the races. During this time I completed an animal management course and certificate. I also completed a Pet First Aid course in November 2024.

Over the years I have had the pleasure of living with and looking after other animals including dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish and ponies ☺️😻

I will do everything I can to make your holiday or time away from home as stress free as I possibly can for yourself and your kitties, so you can all relax. I will care for your precious fur babies as if they were my own and spend time getting to know them. I understand that all cats have different personalities, so when and how they interact with me will be down to them. If they love cuddles and/or want to play I will happily oblige. If they are more independent or not so confident with strangers I will not overstep their boundaries.

I am happy to visit once or twice a day according to your requirements. Visits can include feeding, litter change, stroking, cuddles, play and chatting.

I am happy to care for other small furry animals including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and gerbils.
