About Me
Cat Dad
My name is Peter. I support children with additional needs in a primary school. I am 35 years old. I got my first cat when I was about 4. I called him Freddy. He was a rescue cat. He lived a long, happy life and we shared a special bond. He always slept on my bed. I wasn't sure I could ever have another cat after him because he was irreplaceable but my partner convinced me and now we have two little girls of our own. They're called Kika and Luz and they are both rescue cats. I am obsessed with them and I spoil them rotten. There's no greater love than that of a cat. My phone's storage is pretty much entirely made up of photos of our girls. We also fostered another cat called Marco who was very troubled due to being involved dog fighting and he would lash out randomly, so I have experienced of difficult animals as well. I cat sat for a couple earlier in 2024, looking after their two shy kitties. I was told I did a great job and provided them with lots of detailed updates. I also dog sat for a family a couple of years ago but I'm more of a cat person than a dog person. I used to be a nanny who looked after twin 3 year old boys and, like I said, I currently work with children, so I guess I'm a very paternal guy who loves to take care of people and animals alike. I am passionate about cats and guarantee I'll give them all my love and care.
I love playing with cats, cuddling them and stroking them. I let cats climb all over me and kiss me. I do whatever I can to meet their needs whether they need some time and space or they want to be best friends immediately. I'm the designated litter tray person in our household and I've taken care of my fair share of accidents from our girls around the house, whether that be toilet related or just them destroying everything because they can.
