About Me
Carol's Cat sitting.
Hi. My name is Carol and I am a recently retired teacher so I have an enhanced DBS and am very organised! I have adored cats since birth when my cat Tortie used to climb into my cot and pad up and down, rubbing her face against mine and purring. I have had lots of experience in looking after cats of all ages from newly born kittens to elderly felines.
My cat Freddie who was an Old Siamese, statuesque, handsome and affectionate. He lived until he was twenty years old and at a show won lots of rosettes for best in his category. I also owned Sugar who was a white British Shorthair. She had a lovely litter of kittens who we had to bottle feed night and day every two to three hours but they grew to be strong, healthy and starred in a TV advert for cat litter! I have also had two other moggy cats who were absolutely beautiful and I really do adore feline company!
It's great to see their intelligent, independent but affectionate personalities!
I will arrange to meet up with you to note any requirements and get vet details etc. and you will be able to see if I am a good match for your precious pet family. Your kitty's happiness and comfort will always be put first with feeding, watering, washing bowls, cleaning the litter tray and replacing it with fresh litter.
I really enjoy playing with my feline friends especially kittens and I always spend lots of time with them. I talk to them and only give cuddles when they are ready and comfortable to come to me. Plenty of photos and videos will be sent so you can see what your lovely kitty is doing while you are away.
I can easily administer all types of medication providing full written instructions are given in advance but if a towel restraint is needed such as for inserting eye drops or ointment, it is probably advisable that you use a trained veterinary nurse because I prefer to build up positive relationships - most cats hate the vet!
