My name is Sofi, and I live with two cats — my older girl is 5, and the younger boy is 2. I’ve had cats for as long as I can remember, and I truly adore these fascinating, sensitive beings.

Our older cat has been seriously ill and nearly died twice. She struggled with severe kidney issues and dental problems, and it took a huge amount of love, care, and expert veterinary help to save her. She’s doing well now — but only because we were fully committed to her healing, every single day.

Our younger cat is very talkative and deeply emotional. He’s incredibly in tune with my mood and one of the most affectionate cats I’ve ever met. Building a bond with him taught me so much about emotional connection — we even worked with a feline behaviourist to better understand his needs and inner world.

So between the physical challenges with our older cat, and the emotional sensitivity of the younger one, I’ve learned to care in every sense of the word — with patience, presence and empathy.

To me, cats are not just pets. They are family

While you’re away, I offer your cat what they need most — not just clean bowls and full bellies, but company, calm and connection.

I’m happy to feed, clean the litter, play, brush, or simply sit nearby while they nap — whatever makes your cat feel safe and seen. I understand that every cat is different: some need attention and play, others just want quiet presence. I tune in gently and respect their boundaries.

Daily updates with photos and little notes about how your cat is doing are always included — because I know how much it matters to feel close, even when you’re far away.
