Reliable and Loving Cat Care in York

Hello! My name is Melanie and I have so much love for all the cats out there and am looking forwards to meeting yours.

Pet care brings me so much joy. I have done it on and off for the past 10 years and it was in fact my first job. I have experience looking after both cats and dogs as well as having had a cat myself.

I currently work part time in education (mainly online) but miss the presence of cats in my life. As I am a freelancer, my availability is very flexible. I used to have such a sweet cat but unfortunately cannot own one where I currently live. I give every cat I look after the same level of care and affection as I did to him. Whether you are away or need more regular support looking after your cat, I will make sure it feels safe and comfortable around me and receives all the attention it needs.

I can offer different services depending on your needs. I am happy to take care of your cat while you are away, but am also happy to discuss more long term/regular visits if that is what you need.

For daily visits I can just check in, feed your cat and clean the litter box. Or, make my visits longer to complete any other tasks that are important to you, as well as spend as much or as little time that your cat may need for play time, cuddles and company!

I can offer short term overnight stays. Feel free to discuss your wants and needs about this too.

Please let me know if your cat has any needs or things I should be considerate of. I have cared for cats who have needed medication. My own cat had particular health care needs his whole life so I am very comfortable caring for poorly cats and giving them that extra bit of attention.
