Miss Purrfect

Hello, my name is Sophie and I am a dedicated cat sitter based in West Didsbury, South Manchester. I have been an animal lover all my life and have experience caring for a wide variety of pets.

Two years ago, I adopted my first cat, Buffy, from the RSPCA. Buffy is deaf and requires ongoing medication, which has given me experience in administering medication and supporting cats with additional needs. Living with Buffy has strengthened my understanding of feline behaviour and the importance of patience, consistency and clear routines.

Alongside this, I grew up caring for many different animals including dogs, small mammals, birds and reptiles. I work as a science special needs teacher at a school with a farm in South Manchester. My role requires me to be calm, patient, flexible and attentive, qualities that naturally transfer into the care I provide for animals.

I genuinely enjoy getting to know each cat’s individual personality and ensuring they feel safe, comfortable and cared for in their environment.

I offer flexible home visits and can visit before and after school during term time. Each visit is tailored to your cat’s routine.

My services include: • Feeding and refreshing water • Cleaning and maintaining litter trays • Playtime • Administering medication • Regular photo and video updates

I am also happy to assist with small household tasks during visits, such as watering plants, collecting post or putting bins out. I cover West Didsbury and South Manchester, and I am always happy to arrange a meet and greet prior to booking so you can feel confident in your choice of sitter.
