About Me
Caring for your cats while you're away from home
Super feline friendly cat-lady here who is owned by Miss Tigg, a tabby indoor cat. Her brother, Mr Hobbes lived with us too, until very recently, but sadly we had to say goodbye to him after a sudden illness.
I had cats growing up so as soon as we owned our own house we got Tigg and Hobbes straight away. They were rescue kittens and it was hard not to bring all 5 from the litter home with us. Hobbes suffers with minor seizures, and while he wasn't medicated I'm really aware of the needs of our special fluffs.
I volunteer at the Glossop Cat Rescue which is such a rewarding addition to my week. The work they do is so vital for our fluffs and it's a delight to be part of their team of volunteers.
I have experience of giving medication through my volunteering at Glossop Cat Rescue and with cat sitting.
I'm also a fosterer for Glossop Cat Rescue, and am currently looking after an adorable tortoiseshell called Suzie until she's well enough to go to her forever home.
I work from home so our cat gets plenty of attention, play and cuddles. I've never felt I could leave ours in a cattery as I know how distressing it is for cats to be out of their normal surroundings. I'll ensure your cats are well looked after in their own home.
I'm a personal trainer and make pottery here in Glossop. I love being outdoors and my local walks usually take far longer than they should as I stop to say hi to all the local cats.
I'm used to cleaning litter trays. I know how fussy cats are about things being nice and clean. I'll change water, give fresh food, play, and plenty of cuddles on offer (if the fluffs like cuddles). Happy to pop in to feed early mornings as I know cats love their breakfast!
I'll send photo updates and videos if requested. Happy to water plants / bring in post / pop bins out etc for longer holidays. Just leave me a written note and I'll make sure your house is also looked after.
