Experienced Animal Carer

I have always had animals in the house, caring for two persian cats from kittens until they were senior (15+ years old). We also have two rescue chihuahuas and recently have taken in a stray who was very poorly. I am currently working with the stray, building up her confidence around people and improving her general health in preparation for her new home. I have also previously walked dogs for an elderly couple who could no longer walk long distances with their pup. I currently work in an emergency veterinary practice .

While working as a zookeeper, I rented a house with multiple animals, caring for the animals at least two days per week. We had 3 rabbits, 4 ex-battery hens, ~20 birds, an outdoor pond, cave fish, two terrapins, a leopard gecko and two tenrecs.

In a previous houseshare, I also cared for a lil cat called Bob whenever the owner was away. He was often bringing in dead and live animals so I'm not squeamish if your animal is a hunter!

I have previously completed house sits in Australia for elderly cats.

Based in Chester, I do visits, overnight stays and holiday cover.

With my experience as a zookeeper and working within a veterinary practice, I am comfortable administering medication if needed.
