Hello! I’m Carina, a 42-year-old Portuguese pet lover who has been surrounded by animals all my life. Cats, dogs, and birds have always been an integral part of my world—pets truly are my passion!
I am an event planner, happily married, with two young children. My family and I recently relocated from Portugal to London, a move inspired by our desire to embrace new adventures and opportunities. I absolutely love this country and its vibrant culture!
Art, music, and animals are my greatest loves. Currently, I share my home with two cherished cats (ages 15 and 5), who are truly part of my family. I can't imagine life without them.
With over 20 years of experience caring for cats, I’ve encountered a wide range of personalities and learned to respect each pet's unique needs. My expertise also includes administering medications, as I’ve cared for sick pets in the past. Additionally, I’m skilled in grooming, such as brushing fur and trimming nails, if requested.
Beyond my own pets, I’ve been a trusted pet sitter for friends' and colleagues' cats and dogs for many years. I pride myself on understanding each animal's individuality and adapting my approach accordingly. Interacting with pets comes naturally to me, and I find joy in building connections with them.
Over the years, I’ve accompanied many cats through their life stages, from playful kittens to their senior years. This has given me invaluable experience with pets of all ages.
My visits typically last about 1h, depending on the cats needs! I always prioritize getting to know the pet and earning its trust. For me, the connection with them is essential and my goal is to understand them as much as possible in order to respect their limits. I never force interaction and always respect each cat’s timing and boundaries.
Over all these years, I’ve followed the life cycle of many cats, from kittens to when they pass away... so I have experience with all ages, including administering medications. During my visits, I love capturing moments by taking videos and photos to share with owners, ensuring they feel connected even when away from their beloved pets.
For me, caring for cats and dogs isn’t just a job—it’s a pleasure and a calling. I’m genuinely happy when surrounded by animals, and I treat each one as if they were my own.
