Cat sitter in Edinburgh

I’m a professional communications manager and I’ve lived in Edinburgh for 11 years - over half of that in the Leith/Abbeyhill area.

I have a 14 year old ragdoll named Thor, he’s 85% blind and has tummy troubles but he’s the most perfect boy and I wouldn’t change him for the world! With older cats and those with special needs, extra patience and love is required and I give that in abundance.

I’ve recently began working from home full time and I enjoy going on walks at lunchtime and in the evening (to make sure I leave the house haha!) and realised that could be helpful to those needing cat care - and what better way to spend my walks?!

My mum recently worked with Cats Protection for 8 years after retiring and I would often help with vet runs and pen cleaning etc. - I’ve learned a lot including being around nervous cats.

I can give as much or as little attention as you’d like - I’m fully aware some cats are anxious with strangers and my cat care motto is to let the cat come to me. I’m happy to administer medication in food, clean trays (and any accidents of course), feed, brush, and play if advised.
