Fear Free Certified Veterinary Nurse <3

I have worked in the veterinary field for over 10 years and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2022. Prior to this I volunteered at many rescues, washing up food dishes outside in the snow with cold water was an experience! I take pride in my fear free approach (also qualified as a fear free practitioner with fear free pets) and will do every thing I can to ensure the animal feels safe and comfortable, leaving interaction completely up to them. (Unless they need medication of course!)

I have fostered for ProDogs and have helped hand raise various types of animals with various illnesses. Unfortunately I haven’t actually hand raised a kitten!

I know all cats are different and while some will love my attention others will be waiting for me to leave. I will respect that and ensure I don’t upset them. I will let them choose to come to me if they want to. I will always make sure they are eating and toileting normally and that they are happy and healthy. If they just need time I will be happy to sit and wait for them to come say hello.

I have had cats very scared and hide away from me the first day or two but then giving them their space they became very happy and would run to see me for cuddles (and treats) 💜
