Experienced, confident and flexible adult with vehicle, life long rescue cat owner

Hi I'm Alex. 38 years old and based in Walkley Sheffield. I love hanging out with cats, nothing makes me genuinely happier!

My demeener and approach seems to instill the trust of cats and I'm very experienced and comfortable with less socialised felines and strays too, so experienced with timid and shy cats. I volunteer at an animal sanctuary every week and have been very lucky to live with and care for many rescue cats at home.

I consider myself a calm person, resourceful and practical. My 20 year career in health and social requires me to make decisions and take responsibility on peoples welfare and this extends to all animals too!

I'm moving away from health and social care to focus on working with animals so can be vty flexible a lot of time and can be called upon at short notice. I've no other responsibilities such as children and live alone so overnight stays are very possible. Keen to help you and your pet however you need and will always spend quality time socialising with them beyond making sure thier basic needs are met and they have a clean and comfortable space of thier own.

I'm experienced with conditioning rescues and have had pets with complex health needs requiring daily medication such as steriods or insulin injections at strict times so I welcome the care of any pets with specific medical needs

I have a vehicle and a very confident driver so please feel assured that I can and will drive your cat to the vets if needed, without hesitation and am very intuitive to any change in behaviours that might indicate such a need for your feline family member.

Will also very happily feed your plants if required.

I have an advanced DBS check. Non smoker Very tidy and organised.
