Cat sitter in Glasgow

Hi I’m Ellen - a Social Worker & sometimes cat sitter, living in Pollokshields.

I was cat obsessed as a child & my first lovely cat was my fifth birthday present. Lily lived with us until I was 22 so I had lots of opportunity to learn about the joys of caring for cats growing up!

Now I’m very lucky to have two gorgeous girls, sisters, Aggie & Nino. I’ve had them since very young, so I’m used to looking after kittens, and theyre very different - so Ive definitely got used to both high energy & lap cats who just want lots of attention & tlc.

I work from home a lot of the time so can be flexible about when I visit around what works best for you and, of course, your cat!

(As a children's Social Worker I have a full Police / PVG check, if this is something that reassures you in order for me to be in your home, which I know can be an anxious thing for many people).

I’d love to look after your cat while you are away - and as a cat owner myself who is often worried about leaving my girls alone, I will do everything I can do keep them happy and keep you reassured so you can relax and enjoy your trip.

I’ll take my direction from you, as each cat is so different! But I love to get to know each animals favorite games and try to play and make sure they can let off them energy. I’ll also stick around for some hugs and affection if theyre feeling ready for that.

I will make sure that :

• All instructions are followed so fresh food and water is exactly as your cats need it, with all bowls cleaned thoroughly daily.
• I clean the litter tray daily - and change litter if needed.
• I check cats each visit for any distress / stress / signs of sickness
• I send daily photos and updates
