My name is Pete, I'm 39 and have been living in Sheffield for over 5 years (I'm originally from the south east).

I teach English as a Foreign Language online and also in-person on a voluntary basis at a language school for refugees and asylum seekers. This makes my work fairly mobile in nature as I can stay anywhere there's access to the internet and still teach!

Cutting to the chase - I love cats! I always have, ever since growing up with a family cat who made it to the grand old age of 21. I am the guy you see stopping in the street to say hello to the cats I pass and offer a stroke if the feline in question deigns to stop and say hello.

I know pets are our friends and family. I'm vegan and greatly respect animals and their emotional needs. To me, cat sitting isn't just about making sure your cat is fed and watered, but truly cared for whilst you're away.

I'm very happy to spend time with your cat, beyond just covering the basics such as feeding. If I stay in your home for overnight sits, to me the whole point would be to ensure your cat receives love and attention whilst you're away.
