Cuddles for Cats

I chose to take semi retirement a few years ago so that I could focus on gardening, crafting and writing. I adore cats though I don't currently have one in my life. I have been lucky enough to have had five gorgeous cats in my life. Tigger the tabby with a 'puss in boots' belt, when I was at home. Charlie, a ginger tom that I found on my doorstep when he was a new born kitten. Max, who moved in with me, when I discovered him injured in the road. Suki, another rescue, who was tiny, black and full of attitude. She'd been mistreated, and I think had lost a litter of kittens. Every October she had a fake pregnancy. I would make up a box with blankets and her favourite toy for her to retreat to, in the wardrobe. And finally, Titian. A huge black cat, with a reddish hue, whose owner had been placed in a nursing home. She was eleven and very clear about her rights. She was also a 'south paw'and used it to great effect on unwanted admirers. For the past couple of years I sat for my friend's elderly, incontinent cat, Rosie, when she went away. Unfortunately Rosie passed away a few months ago. I have an Enhanced DBS check through my role as an Exam Invigilator.

I have now taken an additional DBS check for this role. The DBS ref. no. is 001251086162.

I am happy to feed, clean up and cuddle. Especially the cuddling duties. With Rosie, I went in twice a day.

For the past thirteen years I have shared my life with a springer spaniel, called Bumble.

I am based in Queensbury but am happy to travel to neighbouring areas.
