About Me
Cat Sitting by Emily
Hi, I'm Emily! I have always loved cats since I was very young, and eventually persuaded my parents to let me have one! I have been trusted to feed multiple cats in my neighbourhood while owners are away from a very young age, and I really enjoy doing it. I am planning on going to uni next year and so I will use any money from cat sitting for my studies. I am unable to do overnight stays, but I am more than happy to visit your home once or twice a day and feed + fuss over your cat/cats. This is obviously the case as I have been doing so unpaid for my neighbours since I was a kid. My neighbours are happy to provide a reference if desired.
I am very responsible, and very good at following instructions. No matter how complicated feeding time is for your cat, I will replicate your usual routine as best as possible.
I have had a large variety of pets aside from my cat, including rabbits, hamsters, chickens (including cockerels and chicks) and fish. From pet sitting, I also have experience with ducks and guinea pigs. Although I have never had a reptile of any sort, I find them fascinating and will definitely give it a go. Whatever animal, please enquire - but no dogs please (I have no dog experience and am a 'cat person').
What I am happy to do: - visit your home to feed your cat once or twice a day - clean litter trays - fuss / playtime (if appropriate - e.g. if your cat is quiet and likes to be left alone, just let me know!) - visits are at least half an hour, but if your pet is particularly affectionate I will probably stay for a lot longer! - I will send photos and updates about your pet - if wanted! - please enquire about medication - I am happy to crumble tablets over food etc, but more intrusive medication such as syringe feeding would depend on the pet (I don't fancy getting scratched to pieces!).
