Cat fosterer and sitter ❤️

I am a cat fosterer and teaching assistant with previous experience in dog sitting and small animal/reptile care.

I have been a dog sitter for just over a year however I love cats and want to tailor my services to helping the local community of cosy cats when their owners go away.

When I got my cat Dotty I was in love with her personality and ways of being. She was vocal, caring and loved to play. When she passed I wanted to continue my cat care and this is why I foster. Going forward I am tailoring my pet-sitting to cats and small animals as I love them and I feel that they don't get to recognition they deserve as lovely companions!

Whilst you are on holiday or our with friends, I will take on the role of cat wand wiggler, sofa warmer and food-giver so that your cat is comfortable and happy and you can enjoy your time without worrying!

I am able to work with all personalities- shy, cuddly, cats with a past. My own cat was a rescue from the streets and working as a fosterer means that the cats that come to my home to recover and gain confidence after struggle may have experiences that I don't know about. I am able to react to this and work with the less fun parts of cat care like bitey boys and scratching paws with confidence and empathy- as I have an understanding that cats cannot voice their reasonings like we can!

I have previously administered oral medication and topical medication to cats and dogs. I do not have experience with injections as of yet.

I am happy to travel around Portsmouth- I do so by walking or by public transport. During the week I am limited to evenings due to working in education. I mostly do weekends only during term time.
