Hello, I'm Kai, a freelance writer and video producer. So far, I've met two cats that have been very important to me. I lived with my flatmate and her cat, Chopper, for two years. Chopper was the cheekiest cat I’ve ever met — never sorry about knocking things over, scratching randomly, or strutting past with attitude. This fluffy creature showed me the might and arrogance of cats — and the fact that I love them, no matter what.

When I first moved to the UK, I stayed at a friend's home, and that's when I met the second cat, Jello. He's just a spoiled kid, but luckily I got to cat-sit him for a month after his surgery, while his owner was away. That experience gave me the confidence to apply as a cat sitter.

Since I usually work flexibly, I'm available to look after cats within walking distance — around Sutton, or a few bus stops away, like Cheam and Carshalton.
