Loving cat sitter in E17 (17+ years experience)

Hi there, lovely to meet you! My name is Rachel, I’m from Ireland but have been living in London since August 2020. I’m currently living on Blackhorse Road and I work in marketing in Farringdon.

I’ve loved cats all my life. I adopted a rescue who I named Walter when I was 16. Walter lived a good life until he sadly at the ripe old age of 17. I have another cat (also rescued) named Gretchen who turned 8 this year. She was pregnant when we rescued her, and my family and I raised her kittens who all found loving homes eventually. Gretchen lives at home with my family in Ireland.

When I was living in Ireland I was a cattery volunteer with the DSPCA, so I have experience with caring for cats who have been in traumatic circumstances and have behavioural issues.

My friends have called me a ‘cat whisperer’. I love cats and I am of the opinion that they know when someone is a cat lover or not. I will be great with your furry friend!

As I’ve mentioned I have raised kittens so I am experienced with very young kittens. I have experience with nursing older cats and administering oral medication. As mentioned above I am experienced with cats who have behavioural issues.
