My name is Sophia, 41 years old, an artist and work in care.

I divide my time to create, be outdoors and write, also most importantly I wanted to be at home as much as possible so my old lady cat were together as much as possible.

I lost my wee cat of 21 years old called Fidget. We were together for 18 years and I know what it takes to care for a cat. The play they need, their eating patterns and the company they need. Cats are not pets but part of your family.

To be a cat sitter will be a wonderful way to give back to all those years of learning of animal welfare.

I am fully aware some cats need medicine, which I will happily do, and every cat has their special needs and quriks.

Cats are sociable and need affection and attention. Each cat is different and I will talk to the cat, give it space to get to know me... I will not force the cat to do anything; their welfare is paramount, and I can provide this—full-time care.

Care means: fresh food, checking regularly on their litter tray, that it is clean and fresh. Clean water, access to the outdoors (if they are an outdoors cat), playtime, affection and the overall wellbeing of your cat will be my priority.
