Hi! My name's Kaia and I'm a 28-year-old musician/music teacher who is a self-confessed kitty lady and loves to take care of little furry friends in her spare time 😻😻

I have a lifetime of experience with cats having been brought up with them at home since birth and we’ve always seemed to have a special bond! Whether they were my mum’s cats over the years, or renting a room from a couple with a house full of (7!) cats, I’ve got plenty of purrrfected experience 🐈🐈‍⬛

I completely understand that your cat is your family, and I love trying to learn each kitty’s personal nature and how I can best tend to meet their needs. Living with so many different cats in the past of various breeds, I’m very used to caring for both confident, and shy boys n gals, and am good at adjusting my approach accordingly to build the trust needed for them feel safe and looked after 🧑‍🍼

Since living in London, I’ve missed having my own cat so much, and I cherish when I get to go back home to my mum’s and spend some well-needed time with her adorable Mr Grogu (a little furry Jedi)!

I am certainly a crazy cat lady without her own cat empire at home just yet - sadly my very sensible partner has reasoned with me that due to our work’s nature occassionally travelling for gigs and tours, it’s not yet feasible for us to be parents to our own little feline just yet. So, I have lots of extra kitty love to give! 😸 And it would make me very happy to look after yours and give you the peace of mind that they’ll have a warm and loving cat carer whilst you’re away 🩵

A little more about me: I’m a self-employed singer-songwriter 🎙️🎸 who also teaches both singing privately and pop/rock bands at schools a few days a week. In my spare time I love yoga, reading, and nature time 🧘🏻‍♀️📖🌳

I have lots of experience in caring roles outside of kitty care, including having just left a full-time teaching role for 2 years as a music teacher to go self-employed, and in the past working as both a nanny to two boisterous boys and as a care worker for the elderly and dementia patients. I love working with both people and animals and believe I’m a very caring individual ideal for cat sitting! 🐱

What I can offer:

💕 A best friend 💕 Whether your cat loves to have cuddles, a lap to sit on, or just some presence and company in the house, I’ll be their best friend and adapt to their emotional needs whilst you’re away 👩🏻🐱

💕 A top-tier waitress 💕 Once or twice daily, I’ll be there to feed your kitty their meal routine or any special treats (at your discretion!) 🥘

💕 Medical care 💕 If your cat requires any special assistance in being feed medicine, or special nurture in recovery from an injury/illness, I’ll be ready to nurse them back to health whilst you’re away, according to your requirements and directions. I also have a full UK driving licence and my own car in case there’s any need for a trip to the vets, at extra cost but of course can be discussed 🏥

💕 Cleaning services 💕 I’ll make sure to replace your cat’s litter tray so it’s nice and clean for them daily, and will be happy to undertake any extra bits of cleaning to keep their space healthy and safe, just let me know and I’d be happy to help 🧹🧼

💕 Nurturing connection between you and your kitty whilst away 💕 I completely understand a piece of your heart is always left behind when you go away! I’ll make sure to keep you updated on how they’re doing with little messages and picture updates, so you can feel connected at all times even if on other sides of the world 🌍

I’ve only just opened up my account here, but I have an enhanced DBS from my teaching work to give you peace of mind, and hopefully I’ll have lots more reviews very soon. I understand it’s always a step to take when starting kitty care with a stranger, so it’s very important to me to build trust and put you at ease, so please ask me any questions you may have!
