About Me
Animal Lover & Cat Expert
Hi,
I’m Pamela! I’ve been a manager in digital and IT for a housing and care company for the past 10 years.
I’m also a lifelong cat lover and have owned cats for over 15 years. So far, I’ve had six feline companions, and I currently share my home with four wonderful house cats, who have all been with me from the age of 12 weeks old.
Dexter aka Ladypaws a wise and senior 17-year-old, who is the boss of the boys and of the house. She’s super vocal and super friendly. Dexter has an under active thyroid, that was over active but went through radioactive iodine therapy for 10 days at the Royal Dick, which cured that and she went a bit under active. She gets one pill every morning for this. She also has mild liver disease but that seems to be at bay just now.
Solomon aka Babypaws a big ginger 12-year-old baby, who loves a dance and is obsessed with Ladypaws.
Jareth, my quirky 8-year-old, tiny wee, runt of the litter weirdo.
Ripley, the youngest at 4 and one of the most special wee creatures I’ve ever known. He’s just the nicest guy. Ripley was diagnosed with epilepsy 2 years ago, which is now under control, with medication, in pill format, twice daily. It was a journey to get to where he is now, as his seizures were so violent but he’s a wee trooper and has got through it all.
Each one has their own unique personality and look, making life with them endlessly entertaining and rewarding!
I’m highly experienced with cats and have seen it all—nothing phases me. From stepping on and cleaning up every mess imaginable to handling end-of-life care for a beloved senior cat with cancer, I’ve been through it all. I’m well-versed in everything from vet emergencies (and non-emergencies) to administering medication, trimming nails, giving the perfect brushing, playing hide-and-seek, catnip sessions, and, of course, plenty of snuggles and pampering.
I’m happy to cover all areas of the city and will send as many pictures and videos as you need to keep your mind at ease.
I believe every cat is unique and has their own quirks, preferences, and routines, so I always take the time to learn all the special details about your pet. For example, one of mine insists on eating breakfast in the living room, while all other meals are served in the kitchen—and he must have a lickie treat after every meal! Let me know everything: what they love, what they dislike, any restrictions (e.g., foods or off-limit areas), and any specifics for emergencies. There’s no such thing as too much information when it comes to keeping your cat happy, healthy, and comfortable.
