Cats Are Awesome

I am a huge animal lover. I love all animals and seeing and engaging with them if possible always brings me lots of joy, whether it's someone's pet or a wild animal that I can admire and appreciate. I've been a cat owner for over 14 years (4 at one point, one dog also) and have grown up in a family of animal lovers, owning many cats, dogs and more which makes me very lucky.

My cats really are my pride and joy. I love them so much and every time I see them, they bring so much happiness to my life. I just want them to live their best lives. Cats are such loving animals, they seek it out and they develop such strong bonds with people (and vice versa). They truly deserve as much love as we can give.

My brother now lives in America and owns multiple cats and also fosters many cats and kittens, so whenever I go to visit I spend a lot of time with all of these cats and show them all so much love and care so they're ready for their new homes. It really is one of the highlights of my trip (and seeing my brother of course).

I've looked after the cats and other pets of family, friends and neighbours and always give them updates and send photos and videos to reassure them that they're being well looked after.

I worked with dogs for over 2 years at a day care centre so I've interacted with hundreds of dogs and their owners, always trying my best to provide updates to them on how they were that day etc. I would always try to provide as much attention as I could to every dog under my care and would take photos and videos to show their owner so that they would get a better idea of how their doggy got on (which always made the owners very happy!).

I've been on various volunteering trips abroad working with animals, including elephants, sea turtles, birds and more. I spent over a month at a rescue centre in Costa Rica which mainly comprised of parrots and toucans. Everywhere I've been have also owned cats, dogs and other animals - If you ever needed to find me, I'd most likely be spending time with the resident cats and dogs!

I've volunteered at London Zoo with the Primate and Predator Keeper Team for 5+ years now which has allowed me to work with and care for a number of exotic species, including Gorillas, Tigers, Lions, Squirrel Monkeys and many more! I've loved my time there and won't stop volunteering there any time soon - it's been such a fantastic experience.

I will treat your cat as if they were my own! I'll give them lots of love, cuddles and play. If they have treats, I'll play little games with them so they can find the treats or run after them if that's what they enjoy. If they love sitting on laps, fantastic. If they don't, that's fine too, I'll do whatever they enjoy the most.
