Versatile South London sitter with cat happy guaranteed :)

Hiya! My name is Freya and I am a researcher-practitioner in contemporary art. I was born in China, have lived in the US and Germany and moved to London last year for my Master of Research at UAL. I have an academic background in computer science, comparative literature, and philosophy and I have worked in digital marketing and content creation. I am a musician, yogi, astrologer, tarot reader who gives out weekly guided meditations online. I am also well known for my expertise in massage (for both humans and cats). I have always had great connections with animals and I really appreciate their unique character and precious presence - they have made human society a better place to be! And I believe us humans should try to be the best caretakers and guardians for them as our expression of gratitude.

I do not own any cat at the moment, because I am not yet sure about where I will be based in the future, and wouldn't want my cat to have to move with me. I used to co-parent and have taken care of three cats before. First a long-haired ginger named Qiqi who just looooves to eat - me and my ex adopted her when she was two months old and growing up she was sleeping on my laps for so long... Second a short-haired white cat named Meimei (means younger sister in Chinese) who I persuaded my mom to adopt as a replacement of me - I helped them get along for the first few months (Meimei was five months old) and now Meimei has earned the whole heart of my mom, my grandma, and the extended family. Third a long-haird black cat called Dido who was adopted by my previous flatmate when she was four years old and we are just best friends: we take walks together in the garden, we do yoga and meditation together, and she would just sit by my window sill for the whole afternoon while I worked... I give the best stroking and I was the one who is able to cut her nails :)

Besides the basics of feeding and cleaning, I am happy to play with the cat, which of course may mean very differently for each cat. I could give them brushing, stroking, cuddling, or playing teaser toys with them. I have not really met a cat that I cannot get along with, so I am quite confident that your cat will also have a good time with me :)
