Hello! I'm Claire.

I'm currently working as an illustrator in Cambridge, but I have a professional background in animal care, particularly with cats. After starting out working at boarding kennels aged 14, for over 11 years I worked at Blue Cross in Cambridge, caring for and matching cats to their forever homes. I also worked as a feline behaviour adviser which I loved, and I have a level 3 qualification in Animal Care.

I miss working in this field and would love to bring a little bit of it back into my life. Plus, it's always a good opportunity to meet different cats!

I have two lovely spoilt Ragdolls called George and Dolly, who are 6 and 18 years old. Hopefully they won't mind too much about me making some other local feline friends....

I specialise in working with all types of cats, including nervous/anxious cats or those with behaviour problems. I'm happy administering medication and monitoring those with health concerns, or grooming requirements (e.g Persians) - I have two Ragdolls so I'm definitely not afraid of a bit of hair!

I also have extensive experience of working with nursing mums and kittens, and have also successfully hand-reared and weaned several litters who found themselves in rescue over the years.

Each cat-sitting session includes feeding, cleaning and caring for your cat/s, as well as plenty of time for strokes and play afterwards - whatever they would like!

I'm always happy to send photos and videos so you can see how your little friends are doing while you're away and I'm always available to chat or call via Whatsapp.

Please note - I prefer to do evening visits if at all possible (after 4.30pm) but I will consider all morning requests if you are local to me.
