Josh's Cat Sitting

Hey, I'm Josh. I'm 21 years old, and I live in Hendon, Sunderland, although I'm originally from Weston-super-Mare in North Somerset (approximately 300 miles away from where I live now). I've always loved being in the company of cats and have spent my whole life with cats, albeit not always in a caring capacity. I grew up with cats, and at the risk of sounding morbid, I'll probably die with cats. I rent currently and my landlord wouldn't be overly fussed about me having a cat, so I'm satisfying my desire to spend time with cats by offering cat sitting services, which will be summarised in the next section.

In my spare time, I enjoy trainspotting (especially the Tyne and Wear Metro's old Metrocars), travelling within the UK and Europe, playing simulation games and talking with my friends on Discord.

I strive to offer a service that's personalised to both your cat(s) and their owners (you!). This means that I'm flexible in adapting the services that I offer to suit you and your cats. However, as a guide, I offer the following services:

• feeding your cats, or refilling their automatic food dispenser if their lives are technologically enhanced
• refilling their water bowls or fountains
• playing with them
• sitting with them if they enjoy passive human company (they're more than welcome to sit on my lap, I'd love that!)
• administering topical treatments, including spot-on flea treatments and any other dermal treatments (medicines applied to the skin)
• overnight sitting, which includes all of the above services as needed, as well as being a constant and reassuring presence between 20:00 and 10:00, enhancing both your cat's lives and your home security (unoccupied houses are potential targets for burglars, more so than occupied ones)

I'm also happy to undertake other duties within your home, such as collecting post and, with your explicit permission, opening letters and forwarding scans of any correspondence to yourselves, providing peace of mind if you're expecting something important while you're away. I'm also happy to vacuum and wash your dishes for you, both by hand and by using a dishwasher.

Discounts are available on longer bookings (>=4 days), as well as for repeat customers. If you book me for 4 days or more, the price of your whole booking will be reduced by 25%. Repeat customers have a discount of a third off any subsequent bookings, regardless of their length, which is stackable with the discount available on longer bookings. I reserve the right to stop offering this discount at any time: I'll honour it for existing clients, but won't honour it for new clients.
