Working professional with a love for all cats, DBS checked

Hi, I'm Katie. I've worked in the Criminal Justice System for the past 10 years, so have full Enhanced DBS checks. I currently work from home so have a lot more flexibility to take care of some extra cats.

I have owned cats my entire life, I'm 37 now. I have one cat named Kev, he was a rescue cat so he needed lots of love and patience when I first got him, which I am proud to say he's thriving now. Kev wasnt alone for a lot of years, as I had another cat named Smudge who sadly passed away in 2024 at the age of 19. Family always said he had the most amazing life with me which helped him live to the age he was :).

I am extremely patient with all animals, not just cats, making sure I take extra care whilst they are getting used to me. When shy animals come to me for cuddles, I take it as one of the best compliments I could get 😁.

I am more than happy to carry out any cat care needs from general feeding, changing of litter trays, making sure they have fresh water, cleaning of bowls and lots of play and cuddle time.

I'm happy to administer medication from tablets to eye drops as I've had experience of that with my own cats over the years, however I'm unable to administer any injections as I haven't done that before and your cats health and wellbeing is my first priority, so would not want to do this incorrectly.

I can complete visits before 9am for morning feeds, and visits from 4:30/5pm onwards for evening feeds. Each visit can be between 20 - 40 minutes.

I will ensure that I take lots of pictures or videos of your beloved cat if requested, as I myself request the same if anyone is looking after my cat :). I have personally used cat in a flat service when away on holiday and I was so grateful for the updates off the lovely cat sitter I used, it really put my mind at ease, so would make sure anyone who books with me receives the same courtesy.
