Cat Lady in Winchester

Hello, my name is Theresia. I’m originally from Indonesia, but moved to the UK 10 years ago. The majority of my time in the UK has been spent in Winchester with my husband and our 19-year-old-cat, Halle, whom I have had since she was a 3-month-old-kitten; she’s very much central to our lives and is treated as part of the family, although she acts like she is the head of household. I have had other cats over the years and have looked after friends’ pets on many occasions before my recent employment as a full time cat sitter where I worked for almost a year (Purrfect Cat Care/PCC, a Winchester cat sitting business which closed Feb’25).

Working at PCC gave me the perfect grounding in understanding cat’s needs and being able to adapt to their temperaments and personalities, to be patient with the shy ones, give lots of affection to the lap cuddlers and to give play and stimulations as well. I’m happy to discuss your requirements at the M&G to make sure everything is covered and the cats needs are met. I am well practiced at giving oral medication as Halle needed it for 6 years and I have had to administer to client cats over the past year. I am thorough with cleanliness of feeding and toileting facilities and will respect your home. I can also send photos and updates for your peace of mind, water plants and I am DBS checked. In addition to cat sitting I can provide care for small pets as I have had plenty of experience with this over the past years. It is evident that most cats feel much more comfortable in familiar surroundings and I experienced this myself with Halle in the early years of living in the UK; she would be quite stressed after visiting a cattery and we discovered that cat sitting in their own home is better for her. I want to carry on providing this service independently now that my work situation has changed, doing something I love, and I look forward to serving the Winchester community with the same high standards as in my previous role.

Please note the prices for visits stated above. The prices assume up to 2 cats per household and the property is within a 4 mile catchment area from where I am based as stated in CIAF. If your requirement is outside the above parameters, further charges may apply.
