About Me
Cats First Cat Whisperer
I started catsitting when I moved to Oxford in 2014 for PhD in Physics because I was catless.
I have been responsible for the well-being of numerous cats since I was a little child and I have been actively involved in cat rescue and animal rights activities in Turkey where domesticated cats started in 8,000 B.C.
My interest in cat behaviour and my ability to naturally bond with them allows me to become their best friend. My friendship with some of the cats whom I catsitted moved to Skyping with them after they left Oxford. Therefore, I have earned my title of cat whisperer.
I am grateful to all the humans of cats for giving me a chance to make new cat friends and allowing me to reunite with the old ones.
More about cats and me:
Thanks to the references of adorable cats of Oxford, I settled in a flat with two female cats, Puli and Lakshmi in 2017. I am responsible for following up on their vitals, and taking them to our vet Stefani at Medivet. My landlady and co-cat parent praises me for vastly improving their standards of living. I am the favourite human, bedtime companion and sometimes replacement for the missing 4th leg of our beloved three-legged cat Lakshmi.
I am generous about my time with cats. I would like to spend as much time as they require until they’re happy for me to leave them. Therefore, I have very limited availability.
I have a Christmas guarantee policy meaning I spend Christmas in Oxford for the cat and my regular clients have priority of booking during this time.
I would do my best not to let down my clients so I welcome last-minute bookings but the earlier the booking the more likely that I can make my best availability for the cats.
I am well aware of the responsibility of taking care of your precious cats as well as your house. I would pay particular attention to the cat rules, which can be discussed and tailored according to every cat's unique personality and needs.
I would happily take your instructions for cleaning up the cat-related mess.
If you and your cat allow me, I would be keen to take pictures of your cat and share them with you.
I am happy to help you with cat conflict resolution, eating disorders, diet plans, behaviour improvement, psychological and post-trauma support, chronic disease management and medical emergencies.
I enjoy taking care of the plants.
Please note that I have quoted the base price, which may vary depending on the time of booking, cost of travel, and the extra time and treatments that your cat may require, such as bathing, nail clipping etc.
