Hello, I’m Sophie - Nice to meet you!

I’m a 31 year old actor, based in Stockbridge. My schedule is generally flexible and I can be available at short notice.

I have been a cat lover all my life, having grown up in a house full of them - from old lady Pooh-Cat (she was around before I was!) through to farm-born Kitty and her kittens. As such, I have years of lived-in experience with cat-care, and am more than happy to visit households with multiple cats (ensuring, of course, that each one gets the individual care and attention he/she needs!)

I also worked for several years as a human carer! and so taking responsibility for the health and happiness of other beings, animal or human, is comfortable and familiar territory for me. It has always brought me great joy and fulfilment. I’d be delighted to spend the time with more elderly cats and those who might have more specific needs - though of course I’d be just as thrilled to get cuddles and playtime with kittens and the more energetic cats! Unexpected messes and bodily fluids do not phase me - I’ve seen it all!

My services: I offer a free meet and greet session for me to get to know you and your cat/s, and vice versa. If you and your cat/s then feel I am the right sitter for them, I offer a choice of one or two daily visits, or an overnight stay service.

In these visits I will provide fresh food and water, as per the specific needs and routines of your cat/s and change and clean any litter trays and old dishes. (I will of course also do any other cat-related cleaning as the need arises.) I am also happy to water any plants, take out bins and do a little hoovering, if this suits.

And it goes without saying, I am there to provide companionship for the cats who want it. I offer plenty of cuddles, a lap for napping on and as much playtime as your cat desires! I can also administer medication, as per instruction and am happy to use a flea comb if it is something you do routinely and your cat is comfortable with it.

(As a final note, I also have experience looking after guinea pigs and would be very happy to provide care for your beloved piggies while you are away!)
