Cat Sitting by a Vet Nurse – Because Every Cat is a VIP (Very Important Puss)

Hello! I’m Freya, a registered veterinary nurse—because what other job lets you fall in love every day? I’ve adored animals my whole life, which naturally led me to a career in Vet Nursing. If there’s one thing I’m obsessed with, it’s our feline overlords. I’ve completed a CPD course in feline-friendly handling, so I know all the tricks to keep your kitty happy—whether they’re a cuddle monster or a “look but don’t touch” kind of cat. At my last practice, the staff had a saying: "If you can’t find Freya, check the cat ward." Spoiler: they were always right. I share my home with a golden retriever named Isla, whose two great loves in life are food and toys. Alongside her, I have four cats who rule the house. Indie and Malinke are my tabby terrors—chaotic and confident. Charlie and Hiccup are my sweet stray boys, both inherited from practices I’ve worked at, and both experts in stealing hearts (and treats).

I know that no two cats are the same, and I treat each one as the unique, beloved little gremlin—sorry, angel—that they are. Whether your cat thrives on cuddles, prefers their personal space, or demands treats on a strict schedule, I adapt to their needs to make sure they feel safe and happy. I understand how tough it can be to find a cat sitter you truly trust, so I’d love to be that person for you! Need daily photo and video updates? You got it. Medications? No problem. Grooming? As long as your cat agrees, I’m in. Unfortunately, I can’t host sleepovers at my house (my own four cats and dog would not approve), but I’m happy to stay at yours. Just a heads-up: I have a medical condition that requires me to bring some equipment with me, so my overnight rate is a little higher than I’d like—but I promise, your cat will be getting VIP treatment!
