I’m Tameka!

I grew up on a small farm in the beautiful South Island of Aotearoa, New Zealand with many cats and all kinds of animals being a very present part of my world since I can remember.

A bit about me: My partner and I relocated to the UK with our 2 cats in 2024, where our fur babies spent 3 months in our beloved local cattery before making the long journey across the world to join us here - so I am all too familiar with the dance of distance and the immense trust exchanged when you are far from little darlings.

I absolutely adore cats, travel and painting. I have ’cat- sat’ a plenty in New Zealand and want to continue doing so here, as I have found it wonderfully compliments my schedule as a creative and voice artist working primarily from home, giving me the flexibility to fit in with your requirements and schedule.

Getting Cat specific: I have looked after Cats at various phases of life, from nursing mamas and their new born kittens, administered medication to post op kids to geriatric queens, so am comfortable and well versed in listening to a cats individual needs and adapting to their temperaments. I have been noted for my gentle patience that has warmed both the shyest and staunchest of felines. No matter their personality, we’re sure to get along just fine!

Suri (Female, 8) and Link (Male, 3) are my two darlings, each with very different temperaments and care requirements.

What I offer: I’m based in SE14 and available for bookings nearby, offering one or two visits a day.

As your cat sitter, I will approach the welfare of your fur baby with the care and consciousness of my own.

I take care of all the practicalities for you – food, water, refreshing litter trays, brushing, administering medication if required, and of course giving plenty of cuddles, play time or just being present time. I will also keep you updated with photos and videos of them each visit. Your cat's happiness and your peace of mind are my top priorities!
