Hi there! My name is Ariana, and have been a lifelong animal lover. Even love watching some nature documentaries.

Although I grew up with dogs, I discovered my deep love for cats when I began volunteering at a cat adoption centre at 17. Every Sunday, I’d feed, clean litter trays, give them all the pets and playtime they needed, and help promote them for adoption. It quickly became the highlight of my week.

Since then, I’ve had the joy of fostering a sweet mama cat during my undergrad years, and later took in two wonderful tuxedo cats - Whiskey and Rum - who became part of our home for three years. Now that I’m living in London and only see them when I visit home and my nephew, a black hemingway my sister has, I find myself missing that daily cat connection (though I still get excited every time I spot one in my neighbourhood!).

I work full-time in the grants team at an NHS charity and am originally from Miami, having moved to the UK to complete my Master’s at Durham. Being a cat sitter is the perfect way for me to blend helping others with spending time with some lovely kitties (:

I love seeing cats run, pounce, do the classic hunch-and-scratch, or simply snooze peacefully nearby. Whether they want cuddles, company from a distance, treats, or just someone to fill their bowl and give a gentle nod, I’m here for it.
