Local cat lady (without the crazy) offering patient, caring and compassionate care for your fur babies.

I’m a proud, caring cat lady with a big heart when it comes to our feline friends. I currently live with my own crazy bunch of rescue cats that ive adopted over the years, all of which have very unique personalities and have come from pretty awful scenarios, from being abandoned to having serious health issues and have nurtured them into healthy, loving fur babies. I have many years of experience caring for all kinds of kitties, energetic pedigrees to very shy rescues, senior cats, and those with medical or behavioural needs, even semi ferals.

Growing up, I always adored cats (my favourite film was the aristocats) we owned two orientals in my family home who are now living out their golden years with their rescue brother and was heavily involved in their care. Since then i have adopted three of my own fur babies over the years, a senior void who had sadly been abused, a void kitten who was found in a recycling box and a tabby kitten who had panlukapenia but managed to pull through and is a tough little warrior. My cats mean the world to me and are spoilt rotten (they even have their own play room) so i understand how important it is they feel safe and looked after whilst your not there. Owning rescues also means i have experience with a wide range of behaviours and individual needs, whether it’s administering medication, providing gentle support to nervous rescues, playing with/wearing out energetic kittens or giving lots of love and attention to older cats, I will always aim to make your fur babies feel safe, happy, and understood whilst you’re away.

Having worked in the charity industry for many years and now training to be a therapist, my values include patience, empathy, and compassion. Creating a calm, secure environment is second nature to me, qualities that really help when working with animals too.

I know how much your cat means to you, as i love my own dearly, so i treat every fur baby as if they were my own and if it were up to me i would probably have a house filled with more cats than possessions! I am more than happy to give belly rubs, chin rubs, kisses and all the general fussing your cat would like. I can play with them, keep them entertained, set timers for food if necessary and i am happy to administer medication having done so many times in the past, whether orally or otherwise. Any specific dietary needs or requirements are no problem at all, im an excellent treat and licky stick provider! Litter trays are no problem im happy to empty them and refill, ill clean up afterwards and make sure they have fresh water at all times. I am very experienced with shy/nervous cats also so im happy to stay longer to work with them to gain trust and to make sure they eat. Multiple cats are no problem im used to a full house and also understand the need to separate cats at feeding time if necessary (i have a greedy boy who will eat all of the others food if not). I will send photos and updates as much as you would like and be reachable if you need an emergency visit, i am also happy to take them to the vets in the unfortunate event that ever arose and im happy to stay for a specified amount of time also, no in and out visit i would make sure your kitty is given lots of love and fuss first ☺️
