Kind, Caring, DBS-checked Experienced Cat Sitting

Our family consists of me, my husband and our daughter, who is studying at university, but still lives at home. We are all animal lovers; kind and caring.

I had two precious kitties growing up, Timmy and Whiskey, and we had our cherished chihuahua for ten years, until he sadly passed away due to a heart defect, at the start of last year.

After our doggy passed away, we haven’t felt ready for a new pet but I missed sharing our home with a fur baby. So I applied to foster cats for a local charity. I was so fortunate to foster a mummy cat Tilly and her three kittens (Binky, Smudge & Blu) for a local charity, until they were all adopted. We had them for 6 months from when the kittens were only 7 weeks old. It was such an amazing experience, but I’m not sure I could do it again, as I fell in love with them all and it was so tough to give them up after caring for them for such a long time. They all went to loving homes, with caring owners who I still keep in touch with to see how they’re getting on, so although it was tough, I’m really happy I could make such a difference to their lives.

When we go on holiday, usually to Spain or Cyprus, I like to visit and donate to their local animal shelters. My dream would be to move abroad and volunteer in an animal shelter.

I am calm and patient, having been a deputy headteacher, and I’m still DBS/checked to work with children. I work from home now so I’m able to spend a lot of time with your kitty, giving lots of fuss and cuddles or playing with them with their favourite toys.

We know that kitties love to feel comfy and cosy, so you can rest assured that your feline friend will have a purrfect home from home stay with us, or have all of their creature comforts in their own home if you’d prefer me to come to you.
