Hi, I’m Jill. I’m 48 and a mum to two lovely daughters aged 14 and 16. I work full-time in HR and I’m fully home-based, so I’m around a lot and can be flexible with visit times.

Four weeks ago I sadly lost my beautiful cat, Bubbles, who was with me for 20 wonderful years. She was my constant companion. I never used a cattery for her — she was happiest in her own familiar space and I always felt most relaxed on holiday knowing she was being cared for at home by a sitter.

I’m not quite ready for another cat of my own yet, but I’d love to offer other cat parents the same peace of mind I had. I know how important it is to feel that your cat is safe, loved and looked after exactly the way they like while you’re away.

I’m gentle, patient and very used to caring for older or more sensitive cats, as well as confident, playful ones. I’m also happy to provide daily updates, photos, cuddles, feeding, litter cleaning and any little routines your cat prefers.

My daughters and I are all gentle, calm and patient with cats. We’re very happy to: • feed, fuss and cuddle them (if they want attention) • sit quietly in the room for 20–30 minutes for shy or anxious cats • keep to any routines your cat is used to • send daily updates and photos • clean litter trays and deal with any little accidents

Bubbles had special kidney food and daily medication, so I’m confident with special requirements and giving tablets or treatments. She also struggled with accidents in her later months, so absolutely nothing phases me — I understand older or unwell cats need extra love and understanding.
