Hi! My name is Gizem, and I’m a lifelong cat lover with over 10 years of experience caring for cats. I grew up in Turkey, a country known for its street cats, and I’ve dedicated years to rescuing, fostering, and rehabilitating cats in need. Back home, my family and I care for 7 rescue cats, some with special needs, so I have plenty of experience with cats of all personalities and medical conditions.

Currently, I’m a visiting research fellow at Newcastle University in the Politics department, but my passion for animals has always been a big part of my life. I also hold a diploma in Veterinary Technology and Lab Assistance, which gives me additional knowledge about feline health and care.

I understand that cats are not just pets but beloved family members, and I will care for yours as if they were my own.

I offer loving and reliable cat sitting tailored to your cat’s needs. Whether they are playful, shy, or need extra medical attention, I will make sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away.

I offer daily pop-in visits to your home, and I’m also happy to provide overnight house sitting if needed. I believe cats feel safest and most comfortable in their own familiar environment, and I’ll do my best to make sure your furry friend is relaxed, happy, and well-cared for while you’re away.
