Cat Sitter

Hello, my name is Miranda! I am 20 years old and study sociology at the university of Sheffield. My hometown is in Leeds, where I have two cats, a dog and pet fish. During my time at university, I miss my pets often and would love to look after and care for cats again! Having grown up with pets, I have loved animals for as long as I can remember and it is this reason that I am now a pescatarian. In my free time, I love to go on long dog walks, write poetry and make polystyrene clay figures.

As a cat sitter, I am excited to give your cat the care it deserves whilst you are away. I am happy to check in on their general health, pet and give them lots of strokes and attention if they seem comfortable with this. If you have any pet toys around, I would love to play with the cat(s) to keep them happy. With pets of my own at home, I am used to feeding cats dry and wet food; cleaning and topping up the water bowls, as well as cleaning up any mess after them, including changing the litter tray if required. Having worked as a pet shop assistant at Jollyes, I am familiar with doing the messy bits and making sure the pets are healthy. This also means I am happy to groom and treat the pets with instructed medicine if necessary.
