Respect the Whiskers

I'm an animation filmmaker (she/her) and a lifelong cat lover. With flexible time and deep respect for cats, I offer care as a way to give first, take later, hoping someone like me will care for mine. I've lived with five cats and raised a litter. Each was their own character: a Miyazaki forest-spirit, a cuddle bunny, a skittish wasabi, black lightning, and the queen of the universe. Loving cats, I believe, is basic human decency.

I can be still with a shy cat, cuddle with a cuddler, and play with a playful one. I usually manage medication—though one of my cats taught me when not to push it. mood.
