Your Local Feline Friend

As far back as I can remember I’ve always had a cat (or several). In fact, I feel a home is not quite right without one and it’s fair to say that I’ve been bonkers about cats for thirty odd years now. A few years ago I decided to become a cat sitter to earn some extra cash in my spare time and it’s become a big passion of mine.

​I was born in Cape Town, South Africa and have lived in London for more than seventeen years now.

​My last cat, ‘Couscous’, was one character to say the least. She slept in the washing machine (not when it was running!) and enjoyed a particular brand of tuna as a treat. Anything that buzzes also ends up as a little snack.

​My hobbies include playing the guitar, painting and drawing.  I love documentaries on wildlife/nature and my favourite holiday destinations to date are Sri Lanka, South America and the Kalahari Desert in Southern Africa. It’s pretty obvious but in case you weren’t sure… my favourite animal is the cat.
