Animal lover would love to look after your cat

I care about people, their homes as well as their pets, so I’ll always leave everything as I found it. Until now I’ve pet-sat in over 50 homes in the UK.

I was given my first little black half Siamese kitten when I was 8 years old. She slept on my bed, followed me on walks, became my council and came on family camping holidays, even with our Boxer dog. Many years later, I’ve worked in 9 different countries, mostly Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Now back in Brighton, to supplement my pension, I work six weeks every summer, teaching online (pre-sessionals) for Southampton University. They’re always Chinese students whose aim is to come to the university to do a Master’s Degree. I was last dbs checked for teaching 16 yr olds in Hove in 2022. I also work flexibly showing people I meet how to reduce their bills with UW, a subsidiary of a well-known FTSE 250 company. This satisfies the part of me that wants to support people in our ever changing economic climate. My other interests include travelling, writing (with two short stories published), art groups, socialising, walking, pet photography, cycling, swimming and last but not least nature and all God’s creature. I should add that I was a volunteer on a kibbutz for two six-month stints and worked in the dairy, caring for the new born calves the first time and milking the cows the second time.

Happy to feed, give medication, play with, cuddle, groom, snuggle up with, have sleep on my bed if that’s their choice, watch TV with, take photos/videos of, listen to his/her stories of his/her day, I’ll happily miaow back to and return all the love your cat gives out. Despite knowing how to drive, I don’t have a car, so I travel everywhere on public transport.
